The Frenchman booked his second consecutive hattrick in the UCL this season after claiming a misplaced pass by Edouard Mendy to make it three for Real Madrid.

Speaking to the media after the game, Tuchel has named for players who could be missing the next game.

“It’s a very bad result for us and for everyone in the club. We need to win game now but we failed to do that tight,” Tuchel said.

“Mendy didn’t help matters and he may need time to recover. We can work things out but he was just too bad this night.

“Christensen was dull with the defense and that’s I took him out in the second half, he wasn’t the helping the squad and that led to many over-load.

“Maybe I was wrong with my decision to play him today, maybe I could have left him on the bench cause he couldn’t make anything happen.

“I thought maybe this match would help him get to speed but he failed to impress everyone, maybe the next match will be better.

“Am also disappointed by Pulisic cause it isn’t what we expected but it’s sad.”
