N’Golo Kante missed Chelsea 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace on Saturday due to injury concerns
Kante was pivotal in Chelsea Super Cup victory as the Spanish opponent only found the back of Chelsea’s net after his substitution.
But it’s weird to learn the Frenchman did play the game with injury worries as Tuchel confirmed today of his injury.
According to the German manager, Kante did feel signs of his injury prior the Villarreal game but did go ahead to play the game and did fine.
He even would have faced Crystal Palace with the issues but having felt same pain, Tuchel decided not to risk his best center man.

Speaking as the boys prepare to return to the training ground ahead of their game against Arsenal Tuchel said;
“He felt it in the warm-up to the Super Cup match against Villarreal and he played a little bit with pain, overcame it.
“But yesterday he felt it again and we decided to take responsibility and take him out so as not to take any risks.”
Kante is expected to be fit and back ahead of the Arsenal game by weekend.
Arsenal on their end didn’t have an easy start as they crashed to a newly promoted Brentford in their opener.
