With Chelsea set to battle Crystal Palace tomorrow, Tuchel believe his side is ready to provide worthy competition to Liverpool and Manchester City in the new season
Chelsea finished in the top four last season after having struggled earlier on under Frank Lampard before the arrival of Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel’s arrival indeed marked the change of the story as they later went on to win the UEFA Champions League and their recent Super Cup victory.
Blues in the new season have been talked of as the favorites for the Premier League trophy and Tuchel says that even surprises him but doesn’t change the fact that they will provide good competition to both Manchester City and Liverpool.
Speaking ahead of Crystal Palace game, Tuchel said;
“We want to hunt Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd from tomorrow.”

“Bringing quality, mentality and personality is always welcome. It doesn’t increase pressure, makes like more exciting as a coach.”
“Chelsea need strong players to compete on the level we demand from ourselves.”
Chelsea just landed Romelu Lukaku but the striker won’t be featuring against Crystal Palace tomorrow as Tuchel confirms Tammy Abraham will get some minutes tomorrow despite having an uncertain future at the club.
“Situation for Tammy is clear and discussed. In the moment there is no news about Tammy. He is our player and in the squad tomorrow,” Tuchel also said.
Chelsea during their victory against Villarreal for the super cup saw their goal scorer, Hakim Ziyech leave the pitch earlier due to injury.
But luckily, Tuchel shared the attacker won’t be needing surgery after landing on his shoulder.
Although he is still out and won’t make the squad tomorrow.
