While 2-0 down, Blues managed to grab a consolation goal from a sensational Mateo Kovacic strike upon receiving a rebound from a fine free kick channeled in by Azpilicueta.
The VAR decided to review the goal for possible interference after spotting Rudiger leaving the keeper’s zone while the shot was fired.
Secondly when Pulisic netted the equalizer, the VAR also came into action trying to spot Kante offside but it never came true as the Frenchman was never offside.
