We Don’t Need A Miracle – Pioli Warns Chelsea Ahead Of AC Milan UCL Tie

AC Milan boss, Pioli has disclosed his confidence ahead of their clash against Chelsea tonight as he claims he side are stronger

AC Milan will be going up against a Chelsea side that are still yet to balance under their new management following the sack of Thomas Tuchel.

The Italians only lose one game so far and that came in their match against Napoli where they lose 2 goals to 1.

Despite the load of injuries on Pioli’s list, the 56-year-old has shown total confidence in the squad he has available for the game tonight.

“We have to stay dedicated and focused to do have the result we need, we do not need a Miracle, we need hard work,” Pioli said.

“It’s a match between two teams that play offensive football, two formations that try to dictate the game.

“The quality of our opponents is high, so I certainly expect a difficult match. The team is growing, we have to use these experiences to continue on our path.

“I think this group has already shown that it is mature, every game will allow us to understand our level and to grow further”.

Chelsea would need more than a mere dedication to turn things around on their UCL campaign for the ongoing season, having lost 1 and drew the other, leaving them on the last position of the table.

With the recent change in management, it’s clear AC Milan have an advantage over the Blues who are yet to fully understand the philosophy of their new boss, Graham Potter.
