Mikel Arteta and his boys would want to return to winning ways after a disappointing defeat to Olympiacos during midweek duties in the Europa League, where they lost to a solitary second half goal. Not that it meant much though as they North-Londoners advanced to the next stage of the competition anyways.
Back in the Premier League, Arsenal have been in fine form recently, having picked themselves up after a horrendous run of form between December and February.
David Moyes’s West ham have been extremely impressive this season, currently sitting in a European spot in the Premier League. They will look to continue their impressive run of form when they welcome Arteta’s men to West London.
For Arsenal, Bukayo Saka is out to a thigh injury having strained his right thigh but is expected to be back soon.
Brazilian wideman, Willian is also out and is also expected to be back soon but not soon enough for the West Ham encounter.
West Ham have more players out injured, with Angelo Ogbonna, Pablo Fornals, Ryan Fredericks, Darren Randolph and most notably, the in-form Jesse Lingard out for the game.
