Declan Rice (22) is one of the best defensive midfielders in the English Top Flight and has consequently attracted interest from all over Europe.
Manchester United, Manchester city, Real Madrid and Chelsea are some of the notable top clubs vying for his signature.
The Player who was linked to Chelsea for the majority of Last summer is now a priority signing for Manchester United as they look to assemble a squad capable of challenging city to the Premier League tittle.
Chelsea are also looking to bring the Westham skipper to the bridge with Thomas Tuchel has admitting his long term interest in the player he was looking to land in France during his PSG days.
However Manchester United are in pole position to sign the player as Westham are hoping to keep United’s Jesse Lingard on a permanent deal as he loan deal is set to expire in the summer.
Lingard may play a big part in reducing the £90m fee as a player plus cash deal is feasible at this point.
Chelsea however, backed by the financial power of Russian Owner, Roman Abramovic, can stump up the £90m asking price for the player as it would be the preferred deal for Westham.

It’s however not to be dwelt on as Chelsea Legend and Former Manager Frank Lampard has plied that route before when he left Chelsea for Westham at the turn of the century.
