Barcelona Name Lewandowski Among Club Legends

Robert Lewandowski has been added to Barcelona's official list of “Legendary Players” following his four-season spell at the club.

The Polish striker joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2022 and quickly became one of the most important players in the team's attack.

Lewandowski spent four seasons at Camp Nou before leaving the club in 2026. During that time, he scored 120 goals in 193 appearances, according to Barcelona's official records.

That tally puts him 14th on Barcelona's all-time goalscoring list. So while his goalscoring record is impressive, the claim that he finished in the club's top 10 is incorrect.

His individual numbers were backed by major team success. Lewandowski won three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups during his time in Catalonia.

His best season came in 2024/25, when he scored 42 goals in all competitions and helped Barcelona win La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona's decision to place Lewandowski among its legendary players shows the impact he made despite spending only four seasons at the club.

He did not reach the same statistical level as Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez or other historic Barcelona forwards, but scoring 120 goals in four seasons is a remarkable return.

The debate now is whether four seasons are enough for Lewandowski to be considered a true Barcelona legend.
