Harry Kane Wins Football Focus 2026 Ballon d’Or Poll

Harry Kane has been voted the winner of the Football Focus 2026 Ballon d’Or poll after collecting 122 points from voters in the community competition.

The Bayern Munich striker, who represents England internationally, finished ahead of Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal and France captain Kylian Mbappé in the final standings.

Kane received 26 first-place votes to finish at the top of the ranking with 122 points. Yamal came second with 102 points, while Mbappé completed the top three with 60 points.

The results followed a poll involving 63 voters from the Football Focus Group, who selected their three preferred players and awarded points according to their rankings.

Under the voting system, each first-place selection earned three points, second place earned two points, and third place earned one point. The points were then added together to determine the final standings.

Kane's victory makes him the choice of the Football Focus community in its 2026 Ballon d’Or poll. The exercise allowed members to share their opinions on the players they believed deserved recognition.

Football Focus has also made the full voting breakdown available through a Google Sheet. The document contains two tabs: Score Card and Voters Poll. These allow readers to review the individual selections, point calculations and final rankings.
