Cesc Fàbregas Has Special Clause for Barcelona, Chelsea & Arsenal

Cesc Fàbregas reportedly has a special release clause in his contract with Como that could allow him to join Barcelona, Chelsea or Arsenal for a symbolic fee in the future.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the clause was included in Fàbregas’ agreement with the Italian club and specifically gives the three clubs an advantage should they decide to pursue the Spanish coach.

Fàbregas has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young managers in European football since taking charge of Como. His work with the Serie A side has attracted significant attention from clubs across Europe, including teams with which he has strong personal connections.

The former midfielder spent part of his youth career at Barcelona before returning to the club as a first-team player, while he enjoyed a highly successful spell at Arsenal and later represented Chelsea, winning the Premier League twice with the London club.

The reported clause means those three clubs could potentially have a unique route to appointing Fàbregas if he becomes available in the future.

For now, however, Fàbregas remains committed to his project at Como, with no indication that he is actively looking to leave the club.
