Davide Frattesi Cleared To Travel As Lazio Move From Inter Nears Completion

Reports indicate that Frattesi’s arrival at Lazio’s training ground is imminent, with his medical expected to be the next major step before the deal is completed.

The agreement between Inter and Lazio is understood to be structured as a paid season-long loan. Lazio will reportedly pay €5 million for the initial loan, while a €10 million purchase clause has been included in the agreement. That clause can reportedly become mandatory if certain sporting conditions are achieved during the 2026/27 campaign.

The transfer also includes significant protection for Inter. The Nerazzurri are set to retain a 50 per cent share of the capital gain from any future sale of Frattesi, allowing the club to benefit financially if Lazio eventually sell the midfielder for a substantial fee.

Frattesi began his youth career with Lazio before joining Roma’s academy, meaning his move to the Biancocelesti represents a return to the club where his football journey originally began. He subsequently developed at Sassuolo before making the move to Inter in 2023.
