Nottingham Forest Plot Shock Move for Man City Tijjani Reijnders
Nottingham Forest are interested in Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, but a deal depends on City's willingness to sell the Dutch international.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly exploring a surprise move for Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders as they continue rebuilding their squad after the sale of Elliot Anderson.
According to reports in England, Forest have identified the Netherlands international as one of their top midfield targets and are considering a deal worth around £55 million.
The interest comes just one year after Reijnders joined Manchester City from AC Milan for around £46.5 million. Although the Dutch midfielder impressed during parts of his first season, increased competition in City's midfield has created uncertainty over his long-term future.
Forest believe Reijnders could become the creative midfielder they need following Anderson's departure to the Etihad in a British-record transfer.
However, completing the transfer will not be straightforward.
Manchester City are yet to indicate they are willing to sell, and previous reports suggested the club would only consider letting Reijnders leave if a significant offer arrived. Other clubs, including Atlético Madrid, have also shown interest in the midfielder this summer.
For Reijnders, regular football could become the biggest factor.
The Dutch international has found himself competing with Rodri, Elliot Anderson, Tijjani Reijnders' fellow midfielders and several new arrivals under Enzo Maresca. If his playing time becomes limited again, a move elsewhere could appeal.

For Nottingham Forest, signing a player of Reijnders' quality would send a strong message to the rest of the Premier League.
For Manchester City, selling him for more than they paid would represent a profit on a player who has struggled to secure a guaranteed starting place.
At this stage, Forest's interest is genuine, but no agreement has been reached, and Manchester City's final decision will determine whether one of the summer's biggest surprise transfers becomes reality.
