Wout Faes Completes Permanent Move From Leicester To Shabab Al-Ahli

Wout Faes has officially completed a permanent move from Leicester City to Dubai-based Shabab Al-Ahli, bringing his time at the King Power Stadium to an end.

The Belgian centre-back leaves Leicester after four seasons with the club, having established himself as an important part of their defensive setup following his arrival from Reims in 2022.

Faes made more than 100 appearances for the Foxes across competitions and remained part of the first-team picture during the early stages of the 2026/27 campaign. His departure now sees him embark on a new chapter in the United Arab Emirates.

Shabab Al-Ahli have secured the services of the experienced defender as they continue to strengthen their squad, with Faes bringing significant experience from English football and the Belgian national team.

For Leicester, the transfer marks another change to their defensive options, while Faes will now look to make an immediate impact in the UAE Pro League.
