Al Hilal Agree €80m Deal for Crysencio Summerville in Major Transfer Coup

Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have reached an agreement with West Ham United to sign Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville in a deal worth around €80 million, according to The Athletic. The 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical before completing the move, with a long-term contract already prepared pending final authorisations.

Summerville had attracted strong interest from several European clubs, including AS Roma, Manchester United, and Aston Villa. Roma had been considered the frontrunners after submitting multiple bids, but Al Hilal's significantly higher offer convinced West Ham to accept the Saudi club's proposal.

The move comes after West Ham's relegation to the Championship, with the club now generating a substantial transfer fund following the sales of Mateus Fernandes and, potentially, Summerville. The Dutch international enjoyed an impressive campaign despite the Hammers' struggles and further boosted his reputation with standout performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
