Chelsea Ready to Hijack Inter Deal for Marco Palestra

Chelsea have entered the race for Marco Palestra — and Inter Milan could be the biggest losers.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have submitted an official bid for the Atalanta right wing-back and negotiations are moving quickly.

The Blues are reportedly prepared to pay more than €50 million for the Italian youngster and are also offering a higher salary than Inter.

Before Chelsea's intervention, Inter appeared to be in control of the deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter had already agreed personal terms with Palestra and were working on a package worth around €45 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

Now everything has changed.
