Morgan Rogers Tips Jude Bellingham For World Cup Player Of The Tournament
England forward Morgan Rogers has backed teammate Jude Bellingham to be named the standout player of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, praising the Real Madrid midfielder for his exceptional performances throughout the tournament.

Bellingham has emerged as one of England’s driving forces on their march to the latter stages of the competition, delivering commanding displays in midfield while making himself available to contributing crucial goals and assists to see England through to the Semis.
His composure, leadership and ability to dictate games have made him one of the tournament’s most influential players. Bellingham’s brace in the quarter finals against Norway, was enough to seal a semi final spot for England.
Speaking after England’s latest victory, Rogers was full of admiration for the 23-year-old, insisting that no player has had a greater impact on the World Cup so far.

“What do I think of Jude? Player of the tournament, maybe. He’s been unbelievable. People can see what he’s doing every game.”
The praise reflects the growing belief within the England camp that Bellingham has elevated his game on football’s biggest stage.
Bellingham has been an all rounder, controlling possession, breaking up opposition attacks and producing moments of brilliance in the final third. The English midfielder has consistently delivered when his team needed him most.

Bellingham’s performances have also drawn widespread acclaim from pundits, former players and supporters, with many viewing him as the heartbeat of England’s World Cup campaign.
Despite being of young age, Bellingham who just reached a milestone of the youngest player to cap fifty times for the Three Lions, has led by example in one of the most talented squads in the tournament.
With England now closing in on a place in the World Cup final, Bellingham’s influence is expected to remain central to their ambitions.
Should the Three Lions complete their quest for glory, the midfielder has cemented his spot among the leading contenders for the tournament’s top individual honour.
For Rogers, however, the debate is already settled. In his eyes, Bellingham has been the competition’s finest player, and another inspired performance could seal his place as the 2026 FIFA World Cup Player of the Tournament.
