Real Madrid Sound Out Chelsea Over Benoît Badiashile as Bastoni Alternative

Real Madrid have reportedly made enquiries over the availability of Chelsea centre-back Benoît Badiashile as the club prepares contingency plans in case a move for Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni cannot be completed.

According to reports from MARCA, relayed by journalist YK, Los Blancos have identified Badiashile as a possible alternative if negotiations for Bastoni stall. The French defender is said to be among the options being considered as Madrid continue searching for defensive reinforcements ahead of the new season.

Bastoni remains Real Madrid's priority target, with the Italian international highly regarded for his composure on the ball, tactical intelligence, and experience at the highest level. However, Inter Milan are expected to demand a significant transfer fee, making the deal far from straightforward.
