Ferran Torres Has Seven Goals in Six PSG Games

Ferran Torres is making a remarkable start to life at Paris Saint-Germain, with the Spanish forward now up to seven goals in just six appearances for the French champions.

Torres struck again on Sunday as PSG defeated Marseille 2-1 in Le Classique. Introduced from the bench in the 60th minute, the 26-year-old needed only seven minutes to make an impact, scoring in the 67th minute to give PSG the lead.

The goal continued an extraordinary opening spell for Torres, who has scored four times in Ligue 1 and three times in the Champions League.

His Champions League contribution came in spectacular fashion earlier this month when he scored a hat-trick in PSG's 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava.

Torres has also scored twice against Rennes and once against Brest, meaning he has already found the net in several different situations since joining Luis Enrique's squad.

According to Canal+, Torres has played 325 minutes across his six appearances, giving him a goal every 46 minutes.

His latest goal against Marseille also continued his impact as a substitute. He came off the bench to score against Rennes on the opening weekend before doing the same against Marseille.

However, Torres has also shown that he can contribute from the start, scoring three goals against Slovan Bratislava and starting the matches against Lille, Brest and the Champions League side.

Luis Enrique has already praised the forward's form, saying after the Marseille game that Torres is in an “incredible” state and that PSG are very happy to have him.

Seven goals in six games has given Torres an extraordinary start in Paris. The question now is whether he can maintain this scoring rate as the season progresses.
