Haaland Extends Nations League Scoring Record

Erling Haaland has extended his lead at the top of the UEFA Nations League's all-time scoring chart after scoring twice in Norway's 3–2 win over Denmark.

The Manchester City striker entered the match with 19 Nations League goals but struck twice at Ullevaal Stadium to take his tally to 21 in just 16 appearances.

Haaland opened his account in the first half before completing his brace in the 74th minute, restoring Norway's lead after Denmark had fought back from 2–0 down.

The result leaves Haaland six goals clear of his closest challengers on the Nations League scoring list.

Aleksandar Mitrović and Cristiano Ronaldo are tied on 15 goals, while Kosovo's Vedat Muriqi has 14 and Belgium's Romelu Lukaku has 13.

Haaland's latest goals also took his Norway tally to 64 goals in 56 senior international appearances.

That is an extraordinary scoring rate of more than a goal per game, with Haaland continuing to rewrite Norway's international scoring records at just 26 years old.

His two-goal performance against Denmark also means Haaland has already added two more Nations League goals to his record at the beginning of the 2026/27 campaign.

With Norway facing Portugal next, the striker now has another opportunity to increase his lead at the top of the competition's all-time scoring chart.
