Manchester United Record £677.6m Revenue Despite £43m Loss in 2025/26

Manchester United have released their financial results for the 2025/26 financial year, reporting a £43 million loss compared with a £33 million loss in the previous financial year.

Despite the increased loss, United achieved record full-year revenue of £677.6 million, highlighting the club’s continued commercial strength.

The figures cover the financial year ending 30 June 2026 and are particularly notable because Manchester United did not participate in UEFA competition during the period.

The absence of European football would normally have a significant impact on broadcasting and matchday income, yet United still managed to register their highest-ever annual revenue.

The results present a mixed financial picture for the club. While revenue reached a record level, the £43 million loss represents an increase from the £33 million loss reported for the previous financial year.

The financial results also arrive as United continue progressing plans for a proposed 100,000-capacity new stadium. CEO Omar Berrada recently confirmed that the club had secured land forming part of the proposed location.

Manchester United’s 2025/26 accounts therefore highlight both the scale of the club’s revenue generation and the financial challenges it continues to face as it works to improve its overall financial position and sporting performance.
