Ronaldo's Sister Breaks Silence After Portugal Exit
Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Elma Aveiro posts a cryptic “betrayal” message after the Portugal captain left the national team camp.

Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Elma Aveiro has sent another cryptic message following the Portugal captain's dramatic departure from the national team camp.
Elma took to Instagram with a short but pointed statement that appeared to address the controversy surrounding her brother.
“Betrayal is a dish best served cold… what goes around comes around. The only way is the way forward,” she wrote.
The message comes just hours after Ronaldo confirmed that he had left Portugal's training camp ahead of the Nations League clash with Denmark.
Ronaldo announced his decision following a conversation with Portuguese Football Federation president Pedro Proença.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner said he would reveal the reasons behind his departure “in due time”, while wishing Portugal and his teammates good luck.
The situation followed a tense period involving head coach Jorge Jesus.
Ronaldo had remained on the bench throughout Portugal's 2–1 Nations League victory over Norway, before Jesus confirmed that he would also not start against Denmark.
Jesus insisted that the decision was a footballing one and denied that there had been a major incident between himself and Ronaldo.
Ronaldo subsequently left the team's camp, creating fresh uncertainty over his international future.
Elma has now publicly backed her brother once again, with her latest message adding another layer to an increasingly tense situation around the Portugal squad.
Her post does not name Jorge Jesus or any other individual, so it cannot be established from the message alone who she was referring to.
For now, Ronaldo's future with Portugal remains unclear.
