Ederson Move to Man United Has Collapsed
Manchester United's move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson is officially over as the Brazilian considers a new long-term contract

Manchester United will not sign Éderson this summer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal has completely collapsed and will not be revisited before the transfer window closes.

The Brazilian midfielder has already returned to Atalanta, and the Serie A club has offered him a new contract that would keep him at the club until June 2031.
The final decision now belongs to Éderson.
Reports also say that Éderson and his representatives were left disappointed by how Manchester United handled the negotiations last week. That disappointment is believed to have ended any chance of restarting the deal this summer.

This could be another transfer setback for Manchester United.
The club had identified Éderson as one of its midfield targets after his impressive performances for Atalanta. The Brazilian has become one of the best all-round midfielders in Serie A, known for his energy, tackling and ability to drive the ball forward.
However, Manchester United are now out of the race.
The failed deal has already started a debate among fans. Some believe United waited too long to make a decisive move, while others think the club should now focus on different midfield options instead of looking back.
For Atalanta, this is a big boost.

Keeping one of their most important players would strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. If Éderson accepts the new contract, it will be another sign that Atalanta can keep hold of their biggest stars despite interest from Europe's top clubs.
For Manchester United, the search for midfield reinforcements goes on. But according to Fabrizio Romano, one thing is now certain: Éderson will not be joining Old Trafford this summer.
