Bournemouth Unveil Special Kit for Historic European Campaign

AFC Bournemouth have unveiled a special Europa League kit to mark the most historic European chapter in the club’s history.

The Cherries are preparing to compete in UEFA competition for the first time ever after securing their maiden qualification for Europe, with their debut campaign coming in the 2026/27 Europa League.

Produced by new technical partners hummel, the shirt stays true to Bournemouth’s famous red-and-black identity while adding several details designed specifically for their European adventure.

The kit features bold, wide red-and-black stripes, a classic fold-over polo collar and gold detailing across the hummel branding and trim. A subtle tonal pattern within the red stripes takes inspiration from passport graphics, representing the club’s new European travels.

A monochrome Bournemouth crest with gold trim completes the premium look, while the back includes a solid black panel for names and numbers to meet UEFA regulations.

The shirt is available from September 15, just two days before Bournemouth make their European debut away to Real Sociedad on September 17.

For a club that has risen from the lower divisions to the European stage, this is more than just another football shirt. It is a piece of history — the first Bournemouth kit to be worn on a European night.

And the Cherries will hope it becomes synonymous with a memorable first adventure on the continent.
