International Break Injury List Grows as More Stars Suffer Setbacks
The international break has already produced a lengthy injury list, with Mbappé, Isak, Gakpo, García and Dorgu among the latest players affected.

The international break is proving costly for a number of clubs, with several high-profile players suffering injuries while away on national-team duty.
Kylian Mbappé is among the biggest names affected after the Real Madrid forward suffered a hyperextension of his left knee while scoring against Türkiye. Real Madrid confirmed the injury after medical tests, with reports indicating that he could be sidelined for around two weeks.

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala also suffered a muscle injury to his right thigh during Germany's warm-up before their Nations League clash with the Netherlands. His Germany teammate and Arsenal star Kai Havertz was forced off during the match with a muscle strain, with both players subsequently leaving the national-team camp.

The Netherlands have also suffered setbacks. Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey picked up a hamstring problem against Germany, while Daniel Ballard suffered a similar issue while representing Northern Ireland.
Liverpool have been hit twice. Alexander Isak has returned from Sweden duty after suffering a minor thigh problem, with Sweden manager Graham Potter confirming that the striker would miss the remaining fixtures during the break.
Cody Gakpo then added to Liverpool's concerns after being forced off just 17 minutes into the Netherlands' Nations League clash with Serbia. The forward appeared to be struggling with an ankle/lower-leg problem following a challenge, although the full extent of the injury has yet to be confirmed.

Barcelona defender Eric García has also left Spain's camp after experiencing discomfort in his left knee. The RFEF confirmed that tests led to his withdrawal from the squad as a precaution, with Robin Le Normand called up as his replacement.
Manchester United, haven been dealt Bruno Fernandes blow now have another concern with Patrick Dorgu. The Denmark international was forced off after around 30 minutes of the Nations League clash with Wales after going down requiring treatment before he was eventually taken off. The exact nature and severity of his injury had not yet been officially confirmed at the time of reporting.
