Paris Brunner Emerges as Monaco’s Star to Watch

Paris Brunner is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young players to watch at Monaco this season.

The 20-year-old German forward has made an explosive start to the 2026/27 campaign, scoring six goals in seven appearances across all competitions.

Brunner opened his competitive campaign with goals in both legs of Monaco’s Conference League playoff against Górnik Zabrze, scoring in the 3-2 away victory before finding the net again in the 4-1 return-leg win.

His form has continued in Ligue 1.

Brunner scored twice against Marseille in Monaco’s 2-0 victory on August 30 before adding another goal against Lens on September 18. The goal against Lens proved decisive as Monaco secured a 2-1 win and moved to the top of Ligue 1.

The numbers are a major improvement from his first season of senior football at Monaco. After making only seven Ligue 1 appearances last season, Brunner has already established himself as a regular starter this term.

Monaco's official profile lists the Dortmund-born striker as 20 years old and right-footed. He joined the French club in August 2024 after developing through the academies of Rot-Weiss Essen, Bochum and Borussia Dortmund.

Brunner's combination of size, movement and finishing ability makes his development one of the interesting storylines to follow at Monaco this season.

With his confidence already high and goals arriving regularly, the young German has given Monaco another attacking threat to watch closely.
