The 22 year old reached a milestone during this tournament as the youngest player to get 50 caps for the Three Lions, doing so in the barren draw against Ghana in the second game of the group.

Bellingham spoke to the press after helping England to a convincing win over Panama while securing his second Man of the Match award in just three games at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Bellingham was asked about the differences, between his role with the national team and Real Madrid.

“I don’t think it’s about trust. At Real Madrid, I play differently, a little deeper. With England, I’m a 10 or even an 8 a little more advanced. I don’t care where I play on the field, the position. I always want to play well for my team,” the British lad explained.

Bellingham places the team’s goals ahead of individual achievement, and has committed to being happy to play in any role hence it helps the team achieve result.

A brilliant campaign it’s been for him so far in the tournament, Jude has contributed to three goals so far, scoring twice and laying up for a teammate on an occasion, levelled with Harry Kane on goal contributions for England in the tournament.

Though promising, Jude Bellingham had not been impactful for Madrid for quite sometime, but with arrival of new head coach, Jose Mourinho would be charged to unveil the full sauce in the English ace.
