Real Madrid and Como have reportedly reached an agreement over the future of Nico Paz in one of the most intriguing transfer arrangements of the summer.

According to reports from Spain and Italy, Real Madrid will first activate the €9 million buy-back clause included in Paz's contract before immediately selling the talented midfielder back to Como in a deal worth around €60 million.

The agreement is also expected to include an €80 million buy-back clause in Real Madrid's favor, ensuring the Spanish giants retain long-term control over one of their brightest academy graduates despite allowing him to continue his development in Italy.

The move is understood to suit all parties involved. Como, managed by Cesc Fàbregas, are keen to keep Paz after an impressive debut campaign in Serie A, while the player himself is believed to favor another season as a guaranteed starter rather than returning to Real Madrid for limited first-team opportunities.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, would secure a significant financial return while preserving the option to bring Paz back to the Santiago Bernabéu should he continue his rapid development.

Although neither club has officially confirmed the transfer structure, multiple reports indicate that the deal is close to being finalized, with only the formalities remaining before an announcement is made.

If completed, the agreement would represent one of the most innovative transfer deals of the summer, allowing Como to retain one of Serie A's emerging stars while giving Real Madrid the flexibility to reclaim him in the future.
