Vinicius Set to Stay at Real Madrid as Arsenal Dream Fails
Arsenal's hopes of signing Vinicius Junior this summer are fading as the Brazilian is expected to stay at Real Madrid.

According to Sky Sports News, Real Madrid have no plans to sell Vinicius despite his contract entering its final year. The Spanish giants are confident he will sign a new long-term deal after more talks with his representatives this week.

New manager Jose Mourinho also wants the Brazilian to remain one of the club's biggest stars. Club president Florentino Perez is said to be personally involved in the negotiations.
That has disappointed many Arsenal fans, who believed the Gunners had a real chance of landing one of the world's best wingers. Reports say Arsenal have been monitoring his situation closely, but there is still no strong sign that Vinicius wants to leave Madrid.
Real Madrid know they are taking a risk. If Vinicius does not sign a new contract, he will be free to agree a pre-contract with clubs outside Spain in just six months and leave for nothing next summer.
Some fans believe Real Madrid should cash in now instead of risking losing a player valued at around £137 million for free. Others argue that selling Vinicius is simply not an option because he remains one of the club's biggest stars.
For now, everything points towards Vinicius staying at the Santiago Bernabéu, while Arsenal may have to look elsewhere for a marquee signing.

Do you think Real Madrid are making the right decision by keeping Vinicius, or should they sell him before risking losing him for free?
