Youri Tielemans has described his move to Manchester United as an opportunity he simply could not turn down, saying the club’s global stature made the decision an easy one.
The Belgian midfielder completed his transfer to Old Trafford after weeks of speculation linking him with a switch from Aston Villa.
Speaking to the media after the deal was confirmed, Tielemans admitted that the chance to wear the famous red shirt was one he had always dreamed about.

The ex Leicester man also revealed that conversations with the manager and the club’s hierarchy convinced him that Manchester United are building a project capable of challenging for major trophies once again.
“I believe in the direction this club is heading,” he added. “I want to help the team return to where Manchester United belongs—competing for and winning trophies.”
