USMNT Captain Misses Australia Clash With Calf Injury
US star, Christian Pulisic set to be out from the World Cup clash against Australia as a result of calf injury, and has been replaced in the starting line up by Ricardo Pepi.

Speaking to Fox, 90 minutes before kickoff, the USMNT coach, Mauricio Pochetino made the shocking revelation. He expressed his doubt over the Milan man’s availability for the game against Australia.
Pulisic had earlier trained separately from the rest of team in a bit to regain fitness. Pochetino is hopeful that the captain would be fit to return ahead of the group’s last fixture against Turkey.
The team is pretty focused on her second game in the World Cup campaign, a win tonight would be enough to advance the US team into the knockouts, as they had picked up 3 points from the first game, where they cruised past Paraguay in a 4:1 Scoreline.
The captain would be a big miss for the National side going into this game, though the head coach is positive to the team would achieve maximum points.
