Remo Stars Appoint Olumide Ajibolade as Head Coach
Remo Stars have named Olumide Ajibolade as head coach as the former NPFL champions prepare for life in the Nigeria National League.

Former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Remo Stars have confirmed Olumide Ajibolade as the club's new head coach.
The appointment comes after a difficult season that saw Remo Stars relegated from the NPFL, just one year after winning their first league title.
Ajibolade replaces Daniel Ogunmodede, who remained the club's head coach while also serving as an assistant coach of the Super Eagles. Ogunmodede spent much of last season away on national team duties and coaching courses.
Despite being only 34 years old, Ajibolade arrives with an impressive coaching record.

He has managed Remo Stars' academy side, Beyond Limits, since 2021 and has helped develop many of the club's young talents. During his time in charge, Beyond Limits won multiple Creative Championship (TCC) titles, the Ogun State FA Cup, the Viareggio Cup and, most recently, the Gothia Cup.
Ajibolade also guided Beyond Limits to the Nigeria National League (NNL) title and promotion to the NPFL in 2024, showing he knows what it takes to build a successful team.
His promotion is also seen as a natural step because he already understands Remo Stars' playing style and philosophy after spending the last five years at the club.
Remo Stars will now hope Ajibolade can repeat his success with the senior team as they aim for an immediate return to the NPFL.
With his experience of winning trophies and earning promotion, many fans will believe he is the right man to lead the club through an important rebuilding period.
According to reports, the club sees Ajibolade as a coach who can continue developing young players while helping Remo Stars challenge for promotion back to Nigeria's top flight.
